Placed new caches

I didn't do a lot of geocaching this weekend in terms of finding caches. Pretty much all of my finds were just because "I was there" doing something else. In my case I was placing caches this past Saturday. One of them is already published, other 4 are yet to be reviewed.

I've done my first puzzle cache called Know Thy Book #1. I've also placed two more and submitted two I've placed in February to complete my CATS Park & Hide series.

Series consists of:

CATS Park & Hide:

1. Belmont
2. Northlake Mall
3. Manchester Cinemas
4. Concord
5. Strawberry Hill
6. Final Terminus

Hope others will enjoy the hunt.

First geocache with Oregon 400t

I had to grab some dinner and since there was new geocache placed nearby I've decided to take new Oregon 400t for a spin. It seems nice. It will however take me a bit to get used to the different interface and different way of geocaching. Wish Magellan would take notice and in next firmware add some Oregon features in it. Oh well... one could dream. I am selling it anyways.

Oregon 400t

I came home today from DC (business trip) and there it was... brand new Oregon 400t awaiting for me. While I like my Magellan Triton 1500 there are few things that is missing.

1. Lack of user support.
2. No digital compass.
3. Can't run Wherigo caches.

In next few weeks I will compare it. I am also selling the Triton cheap.
